Today
I choose
To be happy and free
From all the unbearable pain
And emotional turmoil
I am undergoing
I seek help
From the Lord
Who is all-powerful
And very much capable
Of lifting all my burden
I unceasingly pray for
Peace
Patience
Fortitude
To burst forth this cage
I am trapped in
Oh such joy for certain
To be released
And to be free
Finally
