I went to Bangkok, Thailand last January 2009 to orally present a paper in the 6th Research on Infrastructure Development. I was with Dr. Sandra and Jun. We visited the Chaophraya River, the famous river of Bangkok where their civilization began. We went to the Chatuchak, the famous flea market in Bangkok where you can purchase cheap yet very nice and unique items. Unfortunately for me I lacked the moolah to go shopping. Eto pa, nagoyo pa ako nung isang tindera dun, bwiset. Also the dress that I bought ended up with Apple kasi narealize ko mas bagay sa kanya at hindi sa akin. But I'm glad when she wore it, it looked good on her. We also went to the zoo. I was able to hold a snake and have its fangs/mouth beside my face. Here's the photo below. And check out my zit, grabe umepal pa yan. Below are more photos from our River "cruise".
Anyway, that trip was a fun trip. Everyone was game. We even ate street food! Amazing! E super sarap kaya! Wow! It was a feast for the taste buds indeed! :D Here we are eating somewhere in the streets of Bangkok:
And here we are riding the famous Tuktuk:
And here is one of Bangkok's temples under renovation:
Shopping in the night market of Bangkok:
And here I am presenting the paper:
Woohoo parang totoo! Hahahaha!
And the best part about it was it's FREE! Thank you UP!
